Shrek Jr. and Super Safety at The Media Theatre

Shrek Jr. and Super Safety are officially open!

These are, without a doubt, two of the highest-production-value shows I’ve had the privilege of producing at The Media Theatre.

Super Safety, written by Dezi Tibbs, highlights the importance of emergency preparedness through the imaginative story of a distracted student who transforms into an emergency-response superhero. I directed this short 10-minute educational outreach show on a topic that is more important to the youth of today than ever before. I worked hard to ensure the story was accessible and clear while also fun and entertaining.

Shrek Jr. features 28 talented students, ages 6–13, who are ready to remind audiences that, indeed, ogres are like onions!

I’m incredibly proud of the creativity, collaboration, and hard work that went into bringing both productions to life. It’s a privilege to help create these experiences for our students and audiences!
